The client required a private (non-public) portal with strict access control and a very lightweight user experience. Key constraints included:

• No public eCommerce flow or payment gateway — order intake by professionals only.
• Simple, fast registration/approval workflow for verified organisations (file uploads, licence IDs).
• Secure downloadable resources restricted to approved users.
• Low maintenance overhead and easy admin controls for documents, user approvals, and tracking (email + Google Sheet integration).

CnEL India proposed and implemented a focused, pragmatic solution that matched the brief exactly — prioritising security, speed and simplicity.

Core approach

• Minimalist public entry page: “Professional Access Portal” homepage with clear CTAs — Request Access & Login to Portal — no marketing clutter or unnecessary animations.
• Lightweight registration: A compact Request Access form (custom or Google Form where preferred) capturing organisation details, licence/certification ID and a PDF upload; submissions emailed to admin and optionally logged to Google Sheets for audit and tracking.
• Admin-driven access control: Manual verification and approval workflow to ensure only authorised professionals gain entry.
• Secure members area: Authenticated sections — Place an Order and Downloadable Resources — restricted to approved users using secure, server-side session management and file-protection techniques.
• Simple order intake: Orders are sent to admin via email and logged in Google Sheets — no cart or payment complexity.
• Document management: Easy admin interface for adding/removing PDFs (product sheets, certificates, safety data, FAQs).

• Server-side authentication with secure password reset flow.
• Access control enforced at application level — direct file URLs protected and only served to authenticated users.
• File upload restricted to PDF with file-size limits and antivirus scanning recommendations as an optional add-on.
• Data export and logs (Google Sheet) limited to admin users; email notifications for new registrations and orders configured for timely action.
