The client needed a private portal (not a public eCommerce site) with strict access control for verified professionals. Key constraints included:
- Minimal, distraction-free UI — no marketing-style clutter or heavy animations.
- Lightweight registration & ordering flows that could be built with simple forms (Google Forms or custom) and integrate with email + Google Sheets for tracking.
- Secure document distribution for approved users with easy admin management.
- Clear admin workflow for manual verification and straightforward handover documentation.

Approach: We delivered a focused, functional portal that maps directly to the client’s brief — prioritising security, speed, and simplicity. The solution combined secure authentication, lightweight forms for registration and orders, and a document management area for verified members.
Key components delivered
Homepage — Professional Access Portal
Clear welcome, about us, and two CTAs: Request Access and Login to Portal. Branding placeholders left for final assets.
Registration — Request Access
Lightweight form capturing organisation details, contact person, licence/certification ID, and a PDF upload. Submissions email the admin and optionally log to Google Sheets for tracking.
Access Control & Login
Secure login for approved users with a forgot-password flow. Access restricted to accounts that admins manually approve.
Order Page (Members Only)
Simple order form (product dropdown, quantity, recipient initials, authorising professional, address, urgency flag) that sends order details to admin email and logs them to a Google Sheet.
Documents — Downloadable Resources
Secure area for PDFs (product information sheets, certification documents, safety data, FAQs). Admins can add/remove files via an easy admin panel.
Admin Tools & Handover
Manual user approval workflow, email alerts, Google Sheet integration for registrations & orders, and a clear handover document explaining maintenance, updates and admin tasks.
