Objectives

• Re-Design: Modern, performance-focused storefront in Light (White/Black) and Dark (White/Blue/Black or White/Red/Black) palettes; preserve the “catalog-forward” homepage layout.
• Import Tool: Secure, robust integration with OTCommerce Open API Marketplace to import from any vendor (single product or bulk).
• AI Product Pages: Create attractive pages similar to Pagepilot results—title/description refinement, emoji usage, and editable sections.
• Image Intelligence: Scan description images to generate contextual copy (e.g., via “Pics to Description”) and auto-translate foreign text overlays (preferred: Amazon Rekognition-assisted workflow).
• Reviews & Translation: Import product reviews via OTCommerce module and enable title/description translation during import.
• 360° Viewer: Slot for Spin Studio 360° images per product.
• Admin Console: Vendor selection, single/bulk import, translation toggles, and detailed import logs with retry controls.

1) OTCommerce → Shopify Import Engine

• Sources: Endpoints for catalog, products, media, pricing, attributes, and vendor info.
• Modes: Single (by product ID/URL) and Bulk (entire vendor catalog). Admin chooses one or multiple vendors.
• Mapping: Normalization layer converts vendor payloads into a unified product schema (title, description, options, images, pricing, tags, specs).
• Reviews: Native integration with OTCommerce review module; reviews linked to the correct SKU and displayed on product detail pages.
• Translations: On-import toggles to translate titles and descriptions via OTCommerce translation capabilities.
• Reliability: Idempotent imports, retry with exponential backoff, partial-failure capture, and resumable bulk jobs.

2) AI Page Composition (Pagepilot-Style)

• Copy Refinement: Titles and descriptions are run through an AI refinement step (keeping the Pagepilot-style workflow), producing skimmable highlights, feature bullets, and SEO-friendly narratives.
• Image-Aware Descriptions: Description images are scanned to extract features/specs; context sentences are generated and placed adjacent to the images (inspired by “Pics to Description”).
• Editable Everything: Merchandisers can edit headings, bullets, emoji highlights, CTAs, and layout blocks prior to publish.
• Style Variants: Multiple pre-built product page styles (2–3 options) selectable per product or as a shop default.

3) Image Localization & Enhancement

• Text Detection: AI detects foreign text on images (preferred pipeline with Amazon Rekognition or equivalent OCR).
• Smart Replace: Translated English copy is overlaid with brand fonts and colors; original image is preserved for audit.
• Asset Governance: Versioned media, alt-text generation, and size-optimized outputs for Core Web Vitals.

4) 360° Product Viewer

• Native slot on the product page template integrates with Spin Studio. Admin can upload frames from the backend; the viewer appears automatically when assets exist.

5) Admin Console & Logs

• Controls: Vendor selection, single/bulk import, translation options, review import toggle, image-localization toggle.
• Observability: Job status (Queued, Running, Completed, Failed), counts, vendor/product IDs, timestamped logs, and per-item error messages.
• Safety: Dry-run preview, duplicate detection, and rollback for recently imported products.

• Theme Direction: Keep existing theme’s product-rich homepage; refactor components for performance and accessibility.
